How do I get started?
All you need is a minimum of 12 photo files on your computer. Use one of our story ideas, or create your own. Your personal story is create step-by-step, with easy to follow instructions to guide you through the process. Simply upload each photo as required and edit text.
Do I have to complete my book in one sitting?
No. Simply log in and save your work as you go, then come back to it whenever is convenient for you.
How long will it take to make my book online?
If you have your story idea and all your photos ready, the uploading process and text changes shouldn’t take long at all. But, rest assured that if you want to take your time, or finish in a couple of sittings, you do not have to rush the process.
I'm not a confident writer, so how will I know my book will look professional?
Our book templates have been written by our resident author, and pages designed by our award-winning graphic designer, so rest assured that your Blue Bower book will look amazing. In terms of the actual story, you are free to be as creative as you like. Use our pre-written templates with minimal changes, or write your own masterpiece! Whatever you create, your children will love.
How long will it take to get my book?
As a rough guide, most orders are processed within 15 to 18 days. As all our books are custom made to order, please allow up to three weeks to receive your order from the date we receive payment. We understand that your order may be for a gift, and you may need it a little more urgently. If so, make sure you request Express Post, and specify the date you require your book and we will let you know if this is possible. *Excludes international orders.
How will I know my personal details and photos are secure on line?
Our website is secure and all details you record with us will not be used for any purpose other than the completion of your personal book. By creating your own personal account with us, you are able to save details that may make subsequent book orders much faster.
How much do they cost?
Blue Bower Books start at $39.95
Postage/shipping?
All our books are sent to you by Registered Mail, which includes insurance.

Express Post is available upon request for an additional cost. For more urgent orders, we suggest you select Express Post.
Gift wrap?
If your book is a gift for somebody, we offer gift wrapping for an additional cost of $5.
How will I know the photos will turn out properly?
It is important that you give us quality images to guarantee that you are happy with the end result.
Our uploading program can detect when the picture quality is not high enough- you can choose whether or not to use them. Note, whilst we use high quality printing, colour shade and intensity can vary from how pictures are on the computer or original copies (if scanned).
Are the books durable enough for young children?
Yes, our books are particularly designed for young children. We use heavy duty, durable board books.
Can I save my details for another book later?
Yes, if you choose to create a login, we will record your children’s details so you can use them for a subsequent story. As an account holder, you can also elect to receive our monthly newsletter, with further great story ideas, special offers, and examples from within the Blue Bower family.
